Overview
VALEO Health & Wellness (“VALEO,” “we,” “us,” “our”) is a health-and-wellness application that helps you track training, nutrition, sleep, mood, supplements and protocols, lab work, and related goals, and provides an AI “Coach” that personalizes guidance from the data you log. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use and protect it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have. It should be read together with our Terms & Conditions.

Information We Collect
We collect the information you provide, the data you log, and limited technical information needed to run the service.
Account & identity:
- •Name, email address, and password (authentication is handled by our infrastructure provider).
- •Date of birth / age, biological sex, and (optionally) reproductive stage — used to tailor guidance and to enforce age-based restrictions.
- •Profile details such as height, weight, fitness level, goals, equipment, and preferences.
Health & wellness data you log (“Health Data”):
- •Workouts — exercises, sets, reps, weights, duration, and rate-of-perceived-exertion (RPE).
- •Nutrition — meals, calories, macro- and micronutrients, dietary preferences and restrictions, and barcode/photo-based food entries.
- •Supplements, peptides, hormone therapies (HRT/TRT), and prescription/OTC medications — including names, doses, schedules, titration plans, and logs of doses taken or skipped.
- •Lab / bloodwork results and the biomarkers, ranges, and trends derived from them.
- •Sleep, mood, stress, alcohol, hydration, recovery practices, body measurements, body composition, and (if you choose) menstrual-cycle and reproductive data.
- •Progress photos and any images you upload (e.g., bloodwork documents, food photos).
- •Goals, calendar events, reminders, and journal entries.
AI Coach interactions:
- •Your messages to the Coach (typed or transcribed from voice) and the context we assemble from your logged data to generate responses.
Payment information (if you purchase a subscription or products):
- •Payments are processed by our third-party payment processor (Stripe). We do not store your full card number; we receive limited transaction details (e.g., status, last four digits, subscription state).
Device & usage data:
- •Basic technical data such as device/browser type, time zone, and app version, and — if you enable notifications — a push subscription/token for your device.
How We Use Your Information
- •To provide the service — store and display your logs, generate plans, rings, trends, and reminders.
- •To power the AI Coach — personalize guidance using your goals and logged history.
- •To send notifications and reminders you’ve enabled (e.g., dose, mood, training, and calendar reminders).
- •To maintain safety and integrity — enforce age restrictions and our Terms, prevent abuse, and debug problems.
- •To communicate with you about your account, important changes, and support requests.
We rely on your consent and on the performance of our agreement with you (providing the app you signed up for) as the bases for processing. You can withdraw consent or close your account at any time.
AI Processing & Anthropic Disclosure
The VALEO Coach is powered by Anthropic’s Claude API. When you interact with the Coach, relevant parts of your Health Data are sent securely to Anthropic to generate a personalized response.
- •Your data is used to produce your response — it is not used to train or improve Anthropic’s models (per Anthropic’s commercial API terms).
- •It is not shared with advertisers or sold.
- •Anthropic processes and retains data only as needed to provide and secure the service.
Voice features, when used, send audio to a speech-to-text provider to transcribe what you say. For details, see Anthropic’s privacy policy at anthropic.com/privacy.
Service Providers We Share Data With
We share data only with vendors that help us operate the app, under agreements that limit their use of it. We do not sell your data. Our key providers (“sub-processors”) are:
- •Supabase — database, authentication, and file/image storage.
- •Vercel — application hosting and delivery.
- •Anthropic — AI Coach processing (see above).
- •A speech-to-text provider — voice transcription, only when you use voice.
- •A nutrition database (e.g., Open Food Facts) — to look up foods you scan or search (we send the barcode/query, not your identity).
- •Stripe — payment processing for subscriptions/products.
- •An email provider — transactional emails (e.g., verification, account notices).
- •A web-push service — to deliver notifications you’ve enabled.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transfer (e.g., merger or acquisition), in which case we will notify you.
How We Store & Protect Your Data
Your data is stored in a Supabase cloud database with row-level security so each account can only access its own records. Data is encrypted in transit using TLS/SSL, and access is protected by authentication tokens that expire. Uploaded images (e.g., progress and bloodwork photos) are stored in access-controlled storage. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information using industry-standard safeguards.
No Advertising or Data Sales
We do not sell your health data, we do not share your data with advertisers, and we do not use your information for targeted advertising. VALEO is ad-free.
Data Retention & Deletion
We keep your data while your account is active and as needed to provide the service or meet legal obligations. You can delete your account and associated data at any time:
- 1.Open Settings and choose the account-deletion option, or email us at the address below.
- 2.Confirm the request.
- 3.Your account and associated personal data are permanently deleted within 30 days, except where we must retain limited records to comply with law (e.g., transaction records).
You can also request a copy (export) of your data by contacting us.
Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live (for example, under GDPR in the EU/UK or the CCPA/CPRA in California), you may have the right to access, correct, export, restrict, or delete your personal information, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, contact us at the address below; we will respond as required by applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
Children & Minors
VALEO is available to users 13 and older. Users under 13 may not create an account; if we learn an account belongs to a child under 13, we will delete it. For users aged 13–17, certain content — including peptide, anabolic, hormone-therapy, and dose-bearing guidance — is restricted, and a parent or guardian must consent to their use of the app, as described in our Terms & Conditions.
Sensitive Health Information
The data you log is sensitive. You choose what to enter, and you can edit or delete entries at any time. VALEO is a consumer wellness tool, not a covered healthcare provider, and the app is not a medical record. Please do not rely on the app for emergencies or medical decisions — consult a licensed professional.
International Users & Data Transfers
VALEO and its service providers operate primarily in the United States. If you use the app from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S. and other countries where our providers operate, which may have different data-protection laws than your own.
Notifications, Cookies & Local Storage
If you enable notifications, we store a push subscription/token to deliver them; you can turn notifications off at any time in Settings or your device/browser. We use essential cookies and on-device storage to keep you signed in and remember preferences. We do not use advertising trackers.
Changes to This Policy
This policy is effective as of June 18, 2026 and may be updated as our services evolve. We will update the date above and, for significant changes, notify active users.
